Refund Policy

⚠️ CRITICAL NOTICE: By purchasing a Fortismaxe subscription, you acknowledge and agree to a strict NO-REFUND policy once you have accessed the platform. Please read this policy carefully before completing payment.
1. Summary
The Rule: Payment + Access to the platform = No refund.
The Only Exception: Technical errors where payment was made but service was never delivered (within 48 hours).
2. Why This Policy?
Fortismaxe is a digital service. Once you log in and access the platform after payment, you gain immediate access to:
- The complete knowledge base and educational content
- AI-powered guidance features
- Case file tools and templates
- Financial planning resources
- All premium content (if applicable)
Unlike physical products, digital content cannot be "returned" once consumed. This policy protects the sustainability of the service and is consistent with digital subscription industry standards.
3. Eligible Refund Cases
✓ You MAY be eligible for a refund if ALL of the following apply:
3.1 Never-Accessed Accounts
- You completed payment successfully
- You did NOT log in to the platform after payment
- You submit a refund request within 48 hours of payment
- You provide proof of identity matching the payment
3.2 Technical Errors
- Duplicate charge due to payment system malfunction
- Payment was processed but account creation failed on our end
- Service was unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to our error
3.3 Fraudulent Charges
- Someone used your payment method without authorization
- You provide evidence (police report, bank statement)
- Request submitted within 14 days
4. Non-Refundable Cases
❌ You will NOT receive a refund in the following cases:
- You have logged in at least once after payment — even a single login triggers the no-refund policy
- You used any feature of the service
- You changed your mind after accessing content
- You are dissatisfied with outcomes in your personal situation (legal, financial, emotional)
- The platform did not solve your specific problem
- You cannot access the service due to issues with your own device, browser, or internet connection
- You forgot to cancel before the subscription ended (note: our subscriptions do not auto-renew)
- Your account was terminated for violating our Terms of Service
- You disagree with AI-generated guidance
- You chose the wrong plan (Basic vs Premium)
- You had buyer's remorse
5. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you qualify under Section 3, follow these steps:
Step 1: Contact Support
Email: support@fortismaxe.com
Subject: "Refund Request — [Your Email]"
Step 2: Provide Required Information
- Full name as it appears on the payment method
- Email address used to register
- Transaction date and approximate amount
- Reason for refund request (specific case from Section 3)
- Transaction reference from Tranzila (if available)
Step 3: Wait for Review
- We will respond within 5 business days
- If approved, refund will be processed by Tranzila within 7-14 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
- You will receive email confirmation when the refund is initiated
6. Chargebacks
⚠️ Do NOT initiate a chargeback with your credit card company before contacting us.
If you dispute a charge without first contacting us:
- We will contest the chargeback with evidence of service delivery (login logs, usage records)
- Your account will be immediately suspended
- You may be permanently banned from re-registering
- You may be liable for chargeback fees incurred by us

7. Subscription Cancellation (Different from Refund)
Important distinction: "Cancellation" and "Refund" are different things.
- Cancellation: You stop using the service. Access continues until the subscription expires. No refund issued.
- Refund: Money returned to your account (only in cases under Section 3).
Since our subscriptions are 6-month one-time payments (not auto-renewing), "cancellation" effectively means:
stop logging in. You will lose access at the subscription's natural expiration date.
8. Partial Refunds
We do NOT offer partial or pro-rated refunds for unused time on a 6-month subscription. The full period is a single unit.
9. Promotional Offers & Discounts
Subscriptions purchased under promotional pricing, discounts, or special offers follow the same refund policy. Promotional pricing does not create additional refund rights.
10. Account Termination by Us
If we terminate your account due to Terms of Service violations (see Terms), no refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period.
11. Force Majeure
In the event of service disruption due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, war, cyberattacks, government orders, third-party provider failures), refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
12. Legal Framework
This Refund Policy is governed by:
- Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 — applicable to Israeli consumers
- EU Consumer Rights Directive — applicable to EU consumers
- Applicable local laws for other jurisdictions
Note: Under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, digital services that have been delivered and consumed are generally exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation right once the consumer explicitly agrees to immediate access and waives the cooling-off period. By clicking "I Agree" and accessing the platform, you provide this explicit consent.
